Edward Allen
89 years old from Rio Rancho, New Mexico
John Edward Allen, a New Mexico veteran who served as a Tuskegee
Airman during World War II and later earned honors for his Air Force
service during the Vietnam War, died July 29th after a long battle
with cancer.
The NAACP Albuquerque Chapter President Harold Bailey said Allen died
from multiple myeloma. He was 84.

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives just so
others may get to enjoy freedom. For that I am proud to call them
Hero.
